The Art of Slow Living
It started with the wheel and the kiln. At Cibolo Creek Ceramics, our journey began with a simple goal: to create functional, beautiful pieces that bring a sense of intention to your daily routines. Whether it’s the weight of a hand-thrown mug in the morning or the texture of a hand-built planter on your windowsill, we believe the objects you use every day should have a soul. From our garage studio in Schertz, Texas, every piece is shaped by hand, fired with care, and designed to last a lifetime.
From Clay to Cleansing
The transition into soap making was a natural evolution of our "small-batch" philosophy. We realized that the ceramic soap dishes we were throwing deserved a bar of soap that was just as thoughtfully crafted. We brought the same attention to detail from the pottery wheel to the soap mold—focusing on raw, earth-derived ingredients like activated charcoal, natural clays, and pure essential oils. Our cold-process soaps are cured for six weeks to ensure a long-lasting, creamy lather that feels as good as our ceramics look on your counter.
Rooted in Schertz, Texas
Cibolo Creek is more than just a name; it’s our home. Being a part of the Schertz and Cibolo community means everything to us. When you shop with us, you aren’t just buying a bar of soap or a piece of pottery—you’re supporting a local maker who values quality over quantity. We’re proud to keep our business small, our ingredients transparent, and our process rooted in the traditions of handmade craft. Thank you for bringing a piece of Cibolo Creek into your home.
